October 2010 - Kathak and Tabla classes at Indira Gandhi Culture Centre, Dhaka
 
The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Dhaka has commenced the 1st Session of Kathak Dance and Tabla training under Ms. Monalisa Roy and Mr. Gopal Mishra, respectively from September 13, 2010.

2. The duration of the training will be from September 13, 2010 to December 31, 2010.

3. The Kathak and Tabla Training are being held at the following premise of the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, House No. 24, Road No. 2, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

4. The schedule of the aforesaid training is as follows:
(i) Kathak Classes

Morning Session: Saturday to Thursday (3 classes) – 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM and 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Evening Session: Saturday to Thursday (3 classes) – 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM and 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

(ii) Tabla Classes
Morning Session: Saturday to Thursday (3 classes) – 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM and 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Evening Session: Saturday to Thursday (3 classes) – 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM and 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

5. Training is presently being conducted at Beginners and Intermediate levels.

6. Registration is open for both Kathak and Tabla classes. Registration for each batch is limited to 15 students per batch on first-come-first-serve basis. For Registration, please contact:

Timings: 9:30 AM to 11 AM on all working days.

7. Registration Fees will be Taka 500 person student for the duration of the course.
