December 10, 2010 - An Evening of Classical Vocal Musical by Mrs. Priyanka Gope at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Dhaka at 6:30 PM

Indira Gandhi Culture Centre, High Commission of India, Dhaka is organising an Evening of Classical Vocal Music by Mrs. Priyanka Gope at 6:30 PM on December 10, 2010 at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, H.No. 35, Road No. 24, Gulshan-1.

Mrs. Gope is a Lecturer in the Music Department of the Dhaka University and at the Chhayanaut and is a leading exponent of Classical Vocal Music in Bangladesh. Trained under noted maestros such as Ananda Charkrabarty, Dr. Asit Roy, Wahidul Haque, Prof. Subir Nandy, Smt. Shubhra Guha and Falguni Mitra, Mrs. Gope has completed her Masters of Arts from the Department of Music in the Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata. She has won several national and international awards for her musical renditions like the Acharya Uday Bhushan Smriti Purashkar from the Rabindra Bharati University, Gold Medal from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the National Education Week etc. Mrs. Gope is enlisted as a Regular Artist of the Bangladesh Betar.
