July 16, 2009 - Visit of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, to Bangladesh |

Former President of India Hon’ble Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam would be visiting Bangladesh from July 19 to 21, 2009.
During his visit, Dr. Kalam will attend a dinner hosted by Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh H.E. Sheikh Hasina. Dr. Kalam, along with Hon’ble President of Bangladesh H.E. Zillur Rahman, will attend first annual convocation of University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS). He will also meet Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus during his stay in Bangladesh.
In addition, Dr Abdul Kalam will visit University of Dhaka, and Viquarunnessa Noon School and College, Dhaka and interact with the students and faculty members at the two institutions.
