Monthly cultural programme schedule of IGCC

The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre also presents Bengali and Hindi film shows at its auditorium in Gulshan every Thursday. The original DVDs of popular films projected on the big screen have been very popular with the Bangladeshi audience in recent times. The Centre organised a Retrospective of Films of noted Bangladeshi Film makers, Tareque Masud and Catherine Masud at its auditorium in October 2011, Dev Anand Film Retrospective in January 2012 and Mrs. Suchitra Sen Film Retrospective in April 2012.

The programmes organised by the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre are widely attended by music lovers, cultural artists and dignitaries of Bangladesh alike. The local print and electronic media covers the events extensively.

The programmes organised by the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre at its auditorium in Gulshan are open for all viewers. There is no requirement of an Entry Pass. However, Complimentary Entry Passes are required for programmes organised by the Centre at other venues in Bangladesh. Such Passes may be collected from the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre at Dhanmondi and Gulshan a week before the event.
